Our Areas of Practice

Citizenship

Naturalization is the process by which a Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) is granted U.S. citizenship after he or she fulfills the requirements established by Congress in the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA).

Asylum

If you are a refugee who is seeking protection from persecution or fear future persecution in their native country, you may qualify for Asylum in the United States. Asylum is a special protection available to individuals who can provide evidence of persecution based on the following grounds: Race, Religion, Nationality, Political Opinion, Membership in a Particular Social Group.

Family-Based Immigration

If you are a Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident of the United States, you may file an immigration petition for your family members. If the family member is already in the U.S., then you may file a petition for an Adjustment of Status for each family member

Investor Visas

Immigrant Investor Program was created to stimulate the U.S. economy through job creation and capital investment by foreign investors. A Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) status is granted to a Foreign Investor (and their spouses and unmarried children under 21), who invests in the U.S. economy based on Immigrant Investor Program, also known as “EB-5.”

Deportation Hearings

A removal, or deportation, proceeding is an administrative review under the jurisdiction of the Executive Office for Immigration Review. The proceeding consists of two components: a master calendar hearing and an individual merits hearing. These proceedings are held before immigration courts or the Board of Immigration Appeals. Typically, proceedings are conducted in person, but they can be conducted by video conference or telephone

Immigration Bond Release

In many ways, an Immigration Bond is similar to a “Bail Bond”.  An Immigration Bond will secure the release of an undocumented alien from immigration custody with the guarantee that the conditions of the Immigration Bond are met.  The United States Department of Homeland Security (aka DHS), through the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), are the federal agencies that are responsible for detention and enforcement of immigration-related issues

Appeals

If your case has been denied by an immigration judge, you have the right to appeal your case. The Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) is the highest administrative body for interpreting and applying immigration laws. The BIA has been given nationwide jurisdiction to hear appeals from certain decisions rendered by immigration judges and by district directors of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in a wide variety of proceedings in which the Government of the United States is one party and the other party is an alien, a citizen, or a business firm.

Withholding of Removal

If you are undocumented, facing deportation from the United States and your current stay in the United States is being threatened due to any reason, you need to immediately seek the legal resources of a law firm that is well-versed in this area of the law. As with all areas of immigration law, deportation and removal from the country are serious issues that can threaten the livelihood of an individual, uproot them from their home, and tear apart a family indefinitely
